I picked up a copy of this book recently and loved it. In addition to covering stories of well-known haunted placed, Markus also interjects his own personal experiences at those locations which makes for a much more interesting read. He may tell a ghost story you’ve heard before, but he always adds something new. The book is jam packed with tons of good stories and many first hand accounts of hauntings. I’d recommend grabbing a copy.

Excellent book on the history of various cemeteries in the Chicago area. The book gives details on some of the various “inhabitants” of the cemeteries. Aids in any research of several community histories.
